Sona Welfare Foundation Spreading Prosperity for Healthy Communities

Sona Welfare Foundation (SWF) the implementing partner of FFC in alignment with its mandate to advance the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is committed to sustainable development through its operational excellence to address pressing societal challenges. Working towards health equity underscores the core of SWF’s mission of fostering resilient, thriving and prosperous communities. In order to address pervasive physical deformities – including limb impairments and blindness – in Mirpur Mathelo area in partnership with Sehat Kahani a leading health care platform organized a two-day Disability Screening Camp (26-27 January 2025), which saw 315 persons with disabilities (PWDs) meticulously assessed by a multidisciplinary team of expert which included renowned Orthopedic Surgeons, Ophthalmologists, General Physicians, and Surveyors from Karachi.

MD&CEO FFC / Chairman SWF Mr. Jahangir Piracha accompanied by his wife met with all the persons with disability, shared the burden of aggrieved and vowed to continue assisting+ and enabling communities in becoming productive and prosperous citizens of Pakistan. This Initiative is named as “Tum Akailey Nahi” enabled precise clinical categorization, root-cause analysis to curb recurrence, and personalized treatment pathways under expert guidance. This milestone reaffirms SWF’s resolve to elevate health equity, ensuring dignity and well-being for all community members.

سونا ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن (SWF) اقوام متحدہ (UN) پائیدار ترقی کے اہداف (SDGs) کو آگے بڑھانے کے اپنے مینڈیٹ کے ساتھ صف بندی میں FFC کا نفاذ کرنے والا پارٹنر ہے، جو سماجی چیلنجوں سے نمٹنے کے لیے اپنی آپریشنل عمدگی کے ذریعے پائیدار ترقی کے لیے پرعزم ہے۔ صحتِ عامہ کی منصفانہ رسائی کے لیے کام کرنا،سونا ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن کے لچکدار، ترقی پزیر اور خوشحال کمیونٹیز کو فروغ دینے کے مشن کی بنیاد کو واضح کرتا ہے۔ میرپور ماتھیلو کے علاقے میں صحت کہانی کے اشتراک سے وسیع پیمانے پر جسمانی خرابیوں کو دور کرنے کے لیے دو روزہ معذوری اسکریننگ کیمپ (26-27 جنوری 2025) کا انعقاد کیا گیا، جس میں کراچی سے معروف ماہرین کی ایک کثیر الشعبہ ٹیم بشمول آرتھوپیڈک سرجنز، ماہرین امراض چشم، جنرل فزیشنز اور سرویئرزنے 315 معذور افراد کا احتیاط سے جائزہ لیا۔

ایم ڈی اور سی ای او ایف ایف سی / چیئرمین ایس ڈبلیو ایف جناب جہانگیر پراچہ نے اپنی اہلیہ کے ہمراہ تمام معذور افراد سے ملاقات کی، ان کے دکھوں کا بوجھ بانٹنے، انھیں پاکستان کے پیداواری اور خوشحال شہری بننے کے قابل بنانے کے لیے کمیونٹیز کی مدد جاری رکھنے کے عزم کا اظہار کیا۔ اس اقدام کو ”تم اکیلے نہیں ” کا نام دیا گیا ہے جو درست طبی درجہ بندی، تکرار کو روکنے کے لیے بنیادی وجہ کے تجزیہ، اور ماہر کی رہنمائی میں ذاتی نوعیت کے علاج کے طریقے مہیا کرنے میں معاون ثابت ہوا ہے۔ یہ سنگ میل سونا ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن کے صحت کی ایکوئٹی کو بلند کرنے، کمیونٹی کے تمام ممبران کے لیے وقار اور بہبود کو یقینی بنانے کے عزم کی توثیق کرتا ہے۔
