Foodpanda, Wasl and Govt of Punjab to Launch Electric Vehicles for Delivery Riders

In a significant move towards sustainable mobility, foodpanda, Pakistan’s leading food and grocery delivery platform, has officially launched Electric Bikes as part of its delivery fleet. The collaboration is done jointly with the Government of Punjab and Wasl (a non-banking finance company) with a view to reduce carbon emissions and promote eco-friendly delivery solutions.

The initiative is designed to enhance EV representation on Pakistan’s leading delivery fleet operator, supporting the Government’s efforts to combat environmental degradation and driving ecological sustainability. By integrating electric bikes into foodpanda’s delivery network, the program aims to significantly reduce reliance on traditional gasoline-powered vehicles, lowering emissions while ensuring cost efficiency for riders.
