US Chargé d’affaires a i Angela Aggeler Strengthens US Pakistan Relationships Visit to Karachi

KARACHI (March 25, 2022) – U.S. Chargé d’affaires a.i. Angela P. Aggeler visited Karachi on March 23-25. During her visit, Chargé Aggeler met with Governor of Sindh Imran Ismail, Port Qasim Authority Chairman Hasan Nasir Shah, industry leaders, and professional female athletes to promote and strengthen the many ties between the United States and Pakistan in this the 75th anniversary of bilateral relations between our two nations. One of the highlights of Chargé Aggeler’s Karachi visit was her discussion with women athletes and sports journalists in conjunction with Women’s History Month. Chargé Aggeler commended the Pakistani sports stars for breaking barriers for women on the pitch, in the arena, and on the Olympic podium.
