Pakistan’s desire to increase barter system trade with Russia

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed his desire to increase trade with Russia under the barter system and invited the Russian President to visit Pakistan as soon as possible.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met Russian President Putin in Kazakhstan’s capital Astana. Important issues including bilateral relations were discussed on this occasion.

On this occasion, the Russian President offered Pakistan to increase cooperation in the fields of energy and agriculture.

The Prime Minister said that he was very pleased to meet President Putin, Pakistan has mutual relations with Russia. 

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif further said that Pakistan and Russia have been friendly countries for a long time. Congratulations to President Putin on his re-election. We have to strengthen the relationship further in the future. 

On this occasion, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he is very happy to meet you again. Two years ago we met in Samarkand on the occasion of the SCO meeting. We had discussed the progress of bilateral affairs. 

The Russian President said that Pakistan and Russia have excellent relations. Bilateral relations have further improved due to trade ties. We can increase our cooperation in energy and agriculture sectors
