Malala Yousafzai to arrive in Pakistan this week

Cofounders of the Malala Fund Ziauddin Yousafzai and Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai are expected to land in Pakistan later this week to hold an array of meetings with key stakeholders in education, government, and the media community. 

Malala Yousafzai and Ziauddin Yousafzai will also join an academic delegation from the Oxford Pakistan Program (OPP) and the Malala Fund team in Pakistan.

The OPP initiative aims to create a bridge between the academic communities in Oxford and Pakistan. Another salient feature of the OPP is the newly established fellowship with Malala Fund, Lady Margaret Hall (LMH) and Oxford’s Department of Education.

The Malala Visiting Fellowship in Education will facilitate teacher training courses in Pakistan to address the shortage of trained teachers, especially women, in Pakistan.
