KE increased rates of Electricity by Rs. 11.37 paisa per unit by NEPRA
Bad news for the people of Karachi. It was approved to increase the cost of electricity by 11 rupees 37 paise per unit Completed public hearing at Nepra headquarters regarding K Electric’s monthly fuel charges adjustment for June. K Electric had submitted a request for an increase of Rs 11 39 paise per unit as fuel adjustment. Also Read: Approval to increase the cost of electricity by Rs. 9, 89 paise per unit Nepra officials say that according to the analysis of Nepra’s data, there is an increase of Rs 11 37 paisa per unit in terms of FCA. The FCA of June will be charged to the consumers by Rs 1 85 paisa more than that of May. According to Nepra, earlier May FCA customers were charged Rs 9.52 paise. That was only for 1 month. The recent hike will also be applicable for 1 month only
