FIR registered against Iman Mazari by Lt. Gen. Humayun Iftikhar for defaming Pak Army
ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday granted pre-arrest bail to Iman Mazari, daughter of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shirin Mazari, in a case related to defaming the senior Army leadership. Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Athar Minallah, while hearing Iman Mazari’s plea for pre-arrest bail, granted her security bail till June 9. A case was registered at the Ramna police station in Islamabad on Friday. Lt. Gen. Humayun Iftikhar Advocate General Headquarters had filed a complaint against Iman Mazari under Sections 138 and 505 for defaming the senior leadership of the army and threatening them.
