Fauzia Siddiqui gets 5 years US visa to meet Dr Aafia Siddiqui in US Jail
The Islamabad High Court hears the Dr. Aafia Siddiqui’s plea for release from American prison and transfer to Pakistan. Additional Attorney General Manoor Iqbal Dogal informed the Islamabad High Court that Aafia Siddiqui’s sister Fauzia Siddiqui has received a 5-year American visa to visit the United States. He said that a meeting was arranged with Aafia Siddiqui in the American jail during three days from May 29 to 31. Fauzia Siddiqui and American lawyer Clive Smith will meet Aafia Siddiqui. The court ordered the government to assist the Ministry of External Affairs in providing an independent doctor for the psychological check-up of Aafia Siddiqui, documents and information related to Aafia Siddiqui to be shared with the lawyer, American lawyer Clive Smith to assure the information of Aafia Siddiqui’s case. shall not be used in addition, The court adjourned further hearing of the case till June 30.
