By-election: PTI retains NA-247, PS-111 seats, loses PK-71 to ANP

KARACHI:  PTI candidate Aftab Hussain Siddiqui  on Sunday emerged as victorious by begging 32,456 votes against MQM-P’s Sadiq Iftikhar who secured 14,026 to stand second in Karachi's NA-247 constituency. According to unofficial and unverified results, PTI has retained Karachi's NA-247 and PS-111 seats in by- polls, while the party has lost Peshawar's PK-71 to Awami National Party (ANP). NA-247 Karachi PTI has retained Karachi's NA-247 by begging 32,456 votes against MQM-P’s Sadiq Iftikhar who secured 14,026 to stand second, while Qaisar Nizamani of pppp acquired 13,360. PS-11 Karachi In PS-11 Karachi by-polls, PTI’s Shehzad Qureshi won by acquiring 12, 455 votes as compared to PPP’s Fayyaz Pirzada who begged 6, 292 votes , while MQM-P's candidate stood third by securing 2,217 votes in the constituency. PK-71 Peshawar ANP candidate Salahuddin has won in Peshawar's constituency  by getting 11, 416  votes against PTI's Zulfiqar Khan who secured 10004 votes. The seat was vacated by PTI's Shah Farman after his appointment as Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
