Afghan Taliban occupy the Afghan consulate bungalow in Karachi

The alleged occupation of the bungalow of the Afghan Consulate on Jamshed Road could not be resolved. According to the application submitted by the petitioners at the Jamshed Quarters on April 11, Bungalow No. 82 located in Amal Colony, in which the students of Dawood University are staying. Some people entered the hall with weapons and beat and abused the students present there. These people broke the locks of the rooms and also took out the belongings while those people were pretending to be Afghan Taliban and said that we are doing Jihad in Afghanistan. and the injured are being treated here. On the other hand, sources say that the said bungalow is owned by the Afghan Consulate.

The staff of the Afghan consulate reached the bungalow yesterday. The students made a video and made it viral and misrepresented the matter. Sources say that the bungalow was given to the student organization without any written agreement during the former Afghan president Ashraf Ghani’s tenure. SSP East Dr. Farrukh Raza says that the revenue department is concerned with property matters. Possession or redemption is within their jurisdiction.
